Greene County Safety Council
A partnership of local businesses co-sponsored by Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce and Ohio BWC
Local businesses have a tool to help them create a safer work environment and save money on Workers’ Compensation premiums. In partnership with the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation Division of Safety and Hygiene, the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce, Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce, and Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Chamber of Commerce jointly hosted a meeting in May, 2007, to establish the feasibility of a Greene County Safety Council. As a result of that meeting, the Greene County Safety Council is now a reality and has been operating successfully for a year. Businesses do NOT have to be Chamber members to be part of the Safety Council. We have made every attempt to keep the Safety Council membership fees reasonable to encourage business involvement.
